    死神，你的仆人，来到我门前。他渡过无名之海，把你的召唤带到我家。

    夜色凝重，我心充满恐惧——但还是要掌灯开门，向他鞠躬表示欢迎。那可是你的使者站在我门前。

    我将眼含泪水，双手合十来膜拜他，我将把我心中的珍品放在他的脚下来膜拜他。

    他完成了使命，即将回去，在我的晨光中留下了阴影。我清冷的家中，只剩下孤独的我，作为献给你的最后祭品。

    87. brink of eternity永恒的边缘

    in desperate hope i go and search for her in all the corners of my room; i find her not.

    my house is small and one from it can never be regained.

    but infinite is thy mansion, my lord, and seeking her i have to come to thy door.

    破庙里的神啊！断弦的七弦琴不再吟唱歌颂你的赞歌，晚钟也不再宣告膜拜你的时间。你周围的空气都是静止的。

    游荡的春风来到你孤寂的寓所。它带来了花朵的消息——那些用来膜拜你的花朵，已不再有人呈献了。

    那些年老的流浪者中有你的膜拜者，永远在渴望那拒施的恩典。黄昏时分，当光与影混杂于灰暗的尘埃之中时，他带着心灵的饥渴，疲惫地回到这破庙里。

    破庙里的神啊，众多节日都在静默中来到你面前。许多无灯的礼拜之夜都消逝了。

    巧妙的艺术之主，造就了许多新的神像，末日到来之时，它们便被扔进遗忘的圣河中。

    只有破庙里的神，遗留在无人礼拜、永不磨灭的忽视之中。

    89. no more noisy louds of a song.

    呵，你这生命最后的义务，死亡，我的死亡，来对我耳语吧！

    我日日夜夜企盼着你。为你，我忍受了生命中的苦乐。

    我的一切存在，一切所有，一切希望和一切爱，总在幽深的秘密中奔流向你。你的眼睛向我最后一瞥，我的生命就永远属于你了。

    花环已编好。婚礼过后，新娘就得离家，在静夜里和她的主人独处。</p>
