难得糊涂 第二章（5）

    男招待员点了点头，就去继续做事了。这个男人喝完拳啤酒后离开了。一个月后，他又来了，却只要了两瓶啤酒。他拿起一杯喝一口……又放下；于是拿起另一杯喝一口……又放下了。重复这个过程，直到两杯啤酒全喝完。这样的情况大约持续了一个月，男招待员问道：“我不是好管闲事的人，但是发生了什么事呢？你的兄弟去世了？”

    这个男人说：“哦，不，什么都没发生。只是我的妻子不让我再来酒吧喝酒了……可是……”

    冬天到了，荷曼太太想要买的东西很多，于是她一直等到周六丈夫有时间的时候，拉起丈夫去了商店。这样，丈夫不但要为她付钱，而且得帮她拎着所有东西。他们去了很多家商店，荷曼太太买了很多很多的东西。她总是停下来说道：“快看，乔伊！那个多么美呀！”

    他总是这样回答：“好的，亲爱的，多少钱？”接着便去付钱了。

    当他们走出最后一家商店时，天色已经暗下来。荷曼先生疲惫不堪，心里琢磨着别的事情，例如，在家里温暖的炉火旁享受着美酒。突然荷曼的太太抬起头看着天空说道：“瞧，多美的月亮啊，乔伊！”

    荷曼先生连想都没想，便说道：“好的，亲爱的，多少钱？”
