    in the early morning thou  from glade to glade.

    on those days i never cared to kno of songs thou sangest to me. only my voice took up the tunes, and my heart danced in their cadence.

    noht that is come upon me? the arlands of my defeat. it is never in my poo to the  pain, and my empty heart aze upon me and summon me in silence. nothing  ive up the helm i knogle.

    then take aood fortune to sit perfectly still  to light them i forget all else again and again.

    but i shall be  my mat on the floor; and  to gain the perfect pearl of the formless.

    no more sailing from harbour to harbour  passed er to die into the deathless.

    into the audience hall by the fathomless abyss s i shall take this harp of my life.

    i shall tune it to the notes of forever, and， y silent harp at the feet of the silent.

    我潜入那内涵丰富的深海，希望能得到那形状不一的完美珍珠。

    我将不再驾驶我那久经风雨的旧船，穿行于各个海港。我弄潮的日子早已远去。

    现在，我渴望死于不灭之中。

    我要把我生命的竖琴，带到那回响着无调音乐的观众厅里，那深不可测的无底深渊旁。

    我要给我的琴弦调音，使之与永恒的乐音合拍，当它哽咽出最后的言语时，就把我缄默的竖琴放在静寂的脚边。</p>
