爱，有时意味着牺牲

    这是母亲常常挂在嘴边的一句话。可我从未真正理解它的含义，直到两三年前。那是一月份的一个寒冷的夜晚……

    哭声把我从睡梦中惊醒。我赶忙跑进姐姐凯利的房间……她说自己头疼得厉害，我便跑到楼下去叫父母。凯利被送到附近的医院，她当时已经不省人事。医生马上用直升机将她转走，飞了两个小时才到医院。父母到了那里才知道凯利患的是脑血管瘤，这种病有点像脑出血，十分严重。随后的3个星期，母亲一直待在医院陪着凯利，我不得不做出牺牲，体味着母亲不在身边的痛苦……因为爱姐姐，我必须忍受这一切，不停地告诫自己凯利比我更需要母亲。有时候，爱就意味着牺牲。

    当母亲和凯利从医院回到家时，我发自内心地感到高兴。当时，父母问我能否让凯利和我一块住(我的房间离父母的房间最近)，方便他们晚上能听到她的声音。说实话，我真的想拥有一个自己的房间，可是我爱姐姐，我说道：“当然可以。”有时候，爱就意味着牺牲。

    在过去的两年半时间里，因为凯利患的是脑血管瘤，她的许多活动都受到了限制……任何会引起血压升高的动作，连使她摇晃的动作她都不能做，以防再次引起脑出血。(跑啊、跳啊、倒栽葱啊、屏住呼吸呀，这类事情凯利全不能做。)好几次，当我和她一起玩的时候，我都不去做这些事情，为的就是不让她那么难过。我也想像一个普通孩子那样玩耍，然而，我爱姐姐，何况……有时候，爱就意味着牺牲。

    在过去的两年半时间里，我们一家人没有去过游乐场，因为凯利不能坐车。我当然很想去，可是我爱姐姐。有时候，爱就意味着牺牲。

    不过，你猜到什么了吗？姐姐慢慢好起来了！不久我们就能再次像从前那样在一块嬉戏玩耍了。在过去的两年半时间里，我和姐姐凯利(巳我大两岁)越来越亲近。我爱姐姐。有时候，爱就意味着牺牲，她也值得我这样做。现在，我觉得自己所做的一切根本就不算牺牲。
