    农场里最懒的人

    一个农场主在他的农场里雇用了10个人，可是没有一个人像他所想的那样猾干活的。他想出一个计划，相信一定能够改掉佣人们的懒惰习惯。

    “各位，”一天早上他说，“我这里有一份体面而且轻松的工作，是为农场里最懒的人准备的。请最懒的人向前走一步。”

    其中的9个人马上站了出来。

    “你为什么不和其他人一起站出来？”农场主问剩下的一位。

    “太累了。”那个人回答。

    the laziest man on the farm

    a farmer had ten employees on his farm, and none of them etic as the farmer thought he should be. he hit upon a plan ,“i have a nice, easy job for the laziest man on the farm.  one. “too much trouble,” came the reply.

    乞 丐

    一个全身肮脏、衣衫褴褛的乞丐向一个过路的男人讨要几美圆的饭钱。男人掏出钱包，取出两美圆对乞丐说：“假如我给了你这些钱，你会不会去买威士忌？”

    “不会，我几年前就已经把酒戒了。”乞丐说。

    “你会不会拿这些钱去赌博？”

    “我不赌博。我仅仅是需要一些生活必需品。”

    “你会不会用这些钱去学高尔夫？”

    “你疯了！我已经20年没打高尔夫了！”

    男人说：“好吧，我不给你这两美圆了。我要把你带回家，让我的妻子为你准备一顿美餐。”

    乞丐吃惊地说：“你这样做，你的妻子不会生气吗？我很脏，还有一股臭味。”

    男人回答说：“没事，我只是想让她看看，一个戒酒、戒赌、不打高尔夫的人会变成什么样！”

    the bum

    a man  in the city,  bum ave you this money,  years ago,” the bum said.

    “amble?”

    “i don’t gamble. i need everything i can get just to stay alive.”

    “reens fees at a golf course?”

    “are you nuts! i haven’t played golf in 20 years!”
